The Upper Commercial School in Tabor as the centre of the education and the edification

The contribution deals with the foundation ant the evolution of the commercial school in Tabor (1866–1919) and its sense for the development of the education and the edification in the Czech countries. The school was based as the Czech counterbalance to the German school in Decin-Libverda. It was promoted to the Upper commercial school in 1900 and it was liquidated. The attention is fastened to the prominent personalities who worked with the school and who enacted the important part in the evolution of the Czech agricultural educational system.
